Abstract Foreword: In today’s complex and fast-paced world, many people face a type of loneliness that is not limited to their physical and social surroundings, but rather penetrates into the depths of their being and personal identity. This type of loneliness, called “existential loneliness,” is a state in which an individual is confronted with a sense of emptiness, meaninglessness, and a disconnection from deeply rooted values. Purpose: Dr. Kirsty Gardiner’s attempt in this article is to address why existential challenges arise in individuals and to show strategies for dealing with them. Method: The translators’ attempt was to faithfully translate the text into fluent Persian and not to make any appropriation of the author’s text. Findings: The study shows that the author has examined the concept of existential loneliness in this article and shown how this phenomenon can affect the psyche and health of an individual. He has examined its psychological roots, symptoms, and effects on daily life in a practical and specialized manner, and in this regard, he has discussed psychological strategies and solutions for dealing with existential loneliness and has shown how this challenge can be transformed into an opportunity for personal growth and transformation. Conclusion: Among the solutions he has presented, the author has expressed finding meaning and purpose in life as a shield against uncertainty and has emphasized that when faced with existential concerns, instead of escaping, people should utilize meaning-making tools and seek to strengthen their sense of purpose.
