Introduction: Leprosy is one of the diseases that is considered in the teachings of Islam. In these teachings, there are recommendations related to the fields of leprosy infection, prevention and treatment. Organizing these recommendations on the one hand and explaining them on the other hand, is one of the goals of the research. Materials and methods: This research has been investigated by library method and by searching for words such as "leprosy" and "leprosy" in narrative texts and by searching for the aforementioned titles in the databases of articles. Findings: Islamic teachings have provided nearly 30 recommendations to deal with leprosy in four formats: the causes of infection, comprehensive methods of prevention and treatment, methods of only prevention and simple methods of treatment. Findings in the field of searching articles indicate that the issue of leprosy has been investigated by researchers with jurisprudential, legal, and medical aspects, and no comprehensive research has investigated leprosy with the approach of research in Islamic sources. Conclusion: Teachings related to prevention have the most frequency among the aforementioned four formats, and teachings related to the causes of disease are in the second place, and teachings related to simple treatment and comprehensive teachings of prevention and treatment. , respectively, have the lowest frequency among Islamic teachings. The ways suggested by Islam to prevent and treat leprosy are very simple, inexpensive and natural. Paying attention to regular skin and hair hygiene, avoiding illicit sexual relations, using nutrients that strengthen the body, along with spiritual matters such as Quranic verses, supplications, and adhar while confirming the experimental researches related to the skin from the scientific miracle of the religion of Islam. has it.
